The A 11 Initiative will document labour rights violations affecting migrant workers in Serbia through fieldwork that combines surveys and in-depth interviews. The data collection will focus on key issues such as access to labour rights, contractual arrangements, wages, occupational safety, housing and the broader challenges of social and economic integration.
Particular attention will be paid to barriers that prevent workers from seeking protection, including lack of information, language obstacles, fear of retaliation, legal gaps and institutional obstacles.
The research will result in a set of up to five documented cases from different geographic areas in Serbia, focusing on different companies from different sectors.
