Organizations and businesses from Zrenjanin, Belgrade and Novi Sad collecting and distributing solidarity aid to the Vietnamese workers in the Linglong Factory, are committed on a daily basis to facilitate the position of these people and the realization of their labor and human rights. So far, we have supported the workers to fight for decent housing, warm clothes and food. However, since they are in multiple locations, it makes it difficult for them to organize themselves and take action. The fight is not over, we are still on the ground, they still need the support of the community. Actions continue.
Active citizens call us every day and ask where and how they can help. In order to make it easier for good people who are ready to get involved in local actions and join joint efforts in one big action, we invite all those interested to get informed about the type of help, quantities and locations where they can leave their donations.
CLOTHING is no longer collected. If necessary, we will announce it again. Thanks everyone who has donated warm clothes and shoes so far.
In Zrenjanin and Belgrade we collect FOOD AND CASH DONATIONS, in Novi Sad we collect FOOD AND HYGIENE ITEMS. We do not distribute food every day, since we don’t have storage capacity, and we are not sure if the workers have refrigerators. What we do know is that they can cook, so in addition to non-perishable food that can be prepared, please bring dry or canned food.
