Project duration: September 2026 – September 2028
The project aims to strengthen the integrity of the electoral process in Serbia by curbing the unauthorized exploitation of personal data for political gains, specifically protecting privacy and autonomy of marginalized and socio-economically vulnerable citizens. While implementing the project, Partners for Democratic Change Serbia and The A 11 Initiative will coordinate with other CSOs engaged in election monitoring to complement efforts to jointly improve the environment in which elections will have been organized.
This project aims to:
- strengthen legal scrutiny mechanisms for data misuse in campaigning
- empower vulnerable groups and capacitate civic space actors against data-driven coercion
- support accountable electoral data management.
